Something is up, and somebody is going to get betrayed. She must find out who she can trust before it's too late.

[COMPLETE & REVISED] Burnetpaw is simply a bad hunter. After spending all of her apprenticeship attempting to improve her abilities, she is still not any better, and she is frustrated by how focused her Clanmates are on her minimal hunting skills. She feels that she was made for greater things, and that she would be excellent on the battlefield. She spends a lot of her time dreaming that WindClan would face some sort of adversity, so that she can prove to her Clanmates she's not entirely useless. But when Burnetpaw's wishes come true, she realizes that hardships do not result in glory. They result in death, and unveil moons of deception.

For seasons upon seasons, ShadowClan has been tormented by vicious battles and conflicts among their neighboring clans. But as Acornkit is born into ShadowClan and begins her ascent to an apprentice and finally a warrior, an even larger war is brewing on the horizon. Soon enough, she finds herself thrown into the center of the vicious storm. Stakes take a turn for the worst when accusations start to fall on her, and conflicts begin to arise inside the clan, causing her to face a multitude of decisions. Along with that, a vengeful face from the past threatens and ensues chaos within the clan, revealing a long, hidden history. As stakes grow higher, she must make the choice to undo the mistakes of the past, or ShadowClan may be lost forever. Published: May 27th, 2024 Completed:
