A lost and mysterious girl turns up in the forest just outside Konohagakure. She says her name is Dove and she needs a place to stay. Although she seems very secretive and suspicious very many people are intrigued by her. Especially one ninja in particular. Kakashi Hatake. 

The Hokage gives her permission to stay in the village as long as she pleases if she joins the ninja academy. She willingly accepts this offer. 

When it shows that her skill is above average, many more people grow suspicious of her. Even many of the students don't trust her. Well, if a mysterious girl turned up out of the blue and was a little too secretive about her past would you trust her? Dove has an amazing ability of being able to sense chakra, even if it's being concealed very well. There's a reason that Dove is able to do all this though. Having to sense others' chakra is a survival skill for her. Why? Because Dove is completely... Deaf.
