Ever since Carrie Collins almost died in a car crash, she's been able to see the dead. At first, her overprotective mother regards it as a child's imagination, but when it follows Carrie into her teen years, she feels it is right to place her daughter in a mental institution.
Evan, a seventeen year old ghost, grows a liking towards Carrie, and soon what seems to be a friendship, turns out to be much more sinister.
