As the daughter of Ava Paige she worked with the subjects since she was really young. The main group she worked with was group A, her group. Newt and her got really close, but she never got to say goodbye when he left, nor to the others when they left.
She was the first one to test the maze, but when they got sent into the maze, one by one, she was never allowed to go with them, staying behind to be experimented on. Not knowing if her friends were still alive.
Almost three years later she meets Aris and decides to help him.
And when group A arrives she recognizes them in seconds and she makes a promise to herself : she will help them to escape from WCKD no matter what, even if it means that she has to reveal her secret.....

Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm.
