As the daughter of Ava Paige she worked with the subjects since she was really young. The main group she worked with was group A, her group. Newt and her got really close, but she never got to say goodbye when he left, nor to the others when they left.
She was the first one to test the maze, but when they got sent into the maze, one by one, she was never allowed to go with them, staying behind to be experimented on. Not knowing if her friends were still alive.
Almost three years later she meets Aris and decides to help him.
And when group A arrives she recognizes them in seconds and she makes a promise to herself : she will help them to escape from WCKD no matter what, even if it means that she has to reveal her secret.....

They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way. We will have to wait for her to go into the maze" she answered calmly. Y/n woke up in a strange medal cage with the sun shining bright over her. Once her eyes adjusted she saw a group of twenty boys staring down at her. Over the next month Y/n made the best of her situation, even with no memories she became the light of the glade, even finding love along the way. That was until the maze doors opened for the first time. Y/n volunteered to run the maze as well as three other boys. During her run she got taken by the creatures that lurked through the maze. She woke up in a hospital bed with a boy standing next to her. Thanks to him she was able to make it out of the WICKED compound and she made her way into the scorch. There she met a girl her age, and an older man who took her under her wing.
