It was a saying that made up much of Liam's second life. The moment he was aware of where he was, he wished to run away from it all, but destruction was assured if all six Infinity Stones were left to exist, ripe for the taking by Thanos.
A spur of the moment decision really. Destroy the Space Stone, chuck its remains into the ocean, and pray that nothing would go wrong.
Who knew that he was going to get dragged into whatever this was.
