Spirited Away

Mey'ara, or called Mara by most people, is the eldest daughter and Olo'eyktan in training for the Metkayina clan. She recently passed Iknimaya and became a fully-fledged warrior or her clan under her father's guidance. Training to become leader gives her an opportunity to prove her trust and loyalty to her parents by representing her tribe to the surrounding islands. She leaves under the blessing of her father and travels to meet the other clans, but finds troubling evidence of human trespassing and disruption in the environment. Back home, trouble grows in her home as her family is unsettled by the arrival of a former Toruk Macto and what his presence could mean for their clan.

As she returns to Awa'altu, she finds the last thing she would expect in her home. Forest people. In specific one golden-eyed forest boy who manages to catch her eye. With war on the horizon and her family in danger, will she handle her position as a future leader and follow her heart, or will the sky people steal her loved ones before she can react, as they had destroyed the rest of Pandora?
