Belly Conklin always knew she'd get married in summer. Her whole life was made up of amazing summers in Cousins. She always thought she'd marry one of the Fisher boys, too. Until everyone went off to colleges and Susannah was battling her cancer with Belly's mom's help. Summers in Cousins were never the same, and eventually they ceased to exist altogether. Without the summers drooling over the Fisher boys, Belly had no choice but to move on with her life.

She thought George Westfield was the perfect person do to that with. He made her forget the boys and he comforted her when Susannah was particularly sick. This man was her new dream, how could she ever say no to him when he proposed on her favourite beach in Cousins?

This is what she wants...
This is what she wants...
So why can she not seem to let go of the dream of being with one of the Fisher boys?

This is a fanfic based off of the series 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' by Jenny Han. Therefore a lot of these characters are not my own and were created by Jenny Han. However, this story is my own.

Also, just because the characters are the same and it is based in the same world, some things and minor details may change about the characters' lives. Just remember, its a fanfic, it was written for fun and if there are any mistakes, it's nothing serious. Regardless, I hope you enjoy!
