It was a typical night at work for Jane, a nurse at the local hospital. She was making her rounds, checking in on patients, and making sure they were comfortable. But as she entered room 313, something felt off. The air was thick and musty, and she could swear that the shadows in the room seemed darker than usual. As she approached the patient's bed, she noticed that the monitoring equipment was malfunctioning. The heart rate monitor was beeping erratically and the IV drip was empty. And then she saw it - the patient's eyes were wide open and they were staring straight at her. Jane froze, rooted to the spot. The patient's eyes seemed to be following her every move, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. Suddenly, the patient's hand shot out from under the covers and grabbed Jane's wrist. She tried to pull away, but the grip was strong and unyielding. With a sense of growing horror, Jane realized that this patient was not alive. It was a corpse, reanimated by some unknown force and fixated on her with deadly intent. She broke free from the grip and ran out of the room, her screams echoing through the hospital. From that night on, Jane quit her job and never went back to that hospital again. She never spoke of the incident again and refused to even mention the number 313.
