Nicole Kent was not of this world.
No, literally. This was not her world. Her world was ending and she was thrusted through dimensions into a timeline where this Smallville, Kansas was as quiet as hers had once been. It didn't take very long for her to understand why she was here, though, and not back by her brother's side and fighting to stay alive, where she should've been.
The same thing that was happening to her world was going to happen to this one if she didn't find this world's Superman and give him a heads up. She knew it wasn't going to be easy to see someone who looked like her dad but really wasn't, but she wasn't ready for just how similar this world's Superman's life was to the one she'd had before.
"I hate to break it to you, Jordan," she responded. "But I'm not Alex and this isn't Wonderland."
Still glued to his spot, he corrected her. "It's Alice in Wonderland."
"Same difference."
**Takes place two years after season 2 of Superman and Lois, but I started writing this before season 3 came out so it's not going to follow whatever plot line the writers have for this upcoming season.

A few hours. It only took a few hours for our greatest ally to become our greatest threat. On a normal day like any other, The Joker once again breaks out of Arkham and reeks havoc on the world, only this time he has a new buddy to play with in Superman. The Clown Prince of Crime, along with the help of Scarecrow, combines fear toxin with Kryptonite to drug the Kryptonian into thinking he's fighting Doomsday when in reality it's really Lois Lane, who at the time was carrying the son of her and Superman and a remote detonation device built into Lois' heart that's rigged to blow Metropolis to the ground not to mention killing 8 million people. In a rageful state, Superman flies over to Arkham Asylum en route to Batman and Joker, and when he gets there he kills The Joker and becomes the biggest criminal the world has ever known. After that Superman makes the One Earth Government or 'Regime' to bring peace, whereas Batman and Robin(Y/n L/n) make the Insurgency as a way to combat Superman and make him see that what he's doing is wrong. Along the way death comes to any who oppose Superman with a few well known names like Oliver Queen(Green Arrow) and Dick Grayson(Nightwing) who gets killed by Damian Wayne. Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year.
