A Taste of Ichor

In a world run by the "otherworldly", Vera must learn how to survive. Abandoned by everyone and everything she has known, she must either escape the grasps of the Royals or learn to adapt to their way of life.

Taken prisoner, Vera must instill the help of a very guarded knight, Marius, to help her get away from her captors. This proves to be difficult when the Queen herself takes an extra special liking to Vera, not letting her out of sight.

Will Vera ever be able to go back to the way her life was? Or will the Vampires that rule the land extinguish her life? Or will something much darker, brewing in the background, devour them all?
