Karai Sakamoto has been a prisoner on the death row for quite some time with her goals unreached and still many years of life ahead that could be shortened by a lot at literally any given time. When she finds herself in a world that's parallel to her own one, she sees the chance of being free again and mindlessly throws herself into dangerous games in which she needs to gamble with death for her own survival. Her situation gets even more complicated after her paths cross with a person from her past and accidentally gets involved with a cult-like organization with a very unreal goal.
