"Did someone kill you, John? Definitely." I took another swig of the cheap alcohol I had stolen, this time I didn't feel regret. I felt a fire burn in my eyes.
"I will make sure I find you. And I won't let you get away alive." I stood up and threw the bottle on the ground. The shards scattered on the floor as the wine escaped from what was left of the bottle. I wiped away the last tear that was still on my face. And I planned to go to the place it first started. My childhood home, and that terrible barn.

Anne has always loved going on adventures with her big brother (John), whether they were pulling pranks on their neighbours, or jumping fences. One day John gets caught in their family barn and is burned alive with the door stuck shut. After this very day Anne hasn't been herself, forming a drinking problem and breaking the law for temporary relief. One day she finds a letter explaining that John didn't commit suicide, he was murdered. The letter was written and signed by someone unknown and she finally has a purpose to keep going in life. Who wrote this mysterious letter? Who killed her older brother John? Did John know a little more than he was supposed to?
