Hunting Assistant

I didn't know I had ancient artifacts buried in my backyard, let alone artifacts used in the Savage Ages by Wild Witches. So I sold them and when Emperor Belos found out, he told me I could either be petrified or I could study the artifacts with his right hand. Did he know that I'd fall in love with the Golden Guard? And he with me? Belos also told the Golden Guard that if I screwed up or fell out of line, I was to be executed immediately. But he would never put my life on the line.... Or would he?
