On Earth, in the year 2023, super powers aren't an common thing. Neither are super heros, in fact being a hero is one of the most wanted Jobs in the world. They help save civilians, defeat bad guys,be super strong, get to show off their power and become well-known figures to the public. Whats not to want??? Unfortunately with heros come villains and requirements come vigilantes (or known to the public as anti-heros). The world of supers is quite fascinating but risky to all those who choose to get involved.



In a large town, in the middle of New Zealand, a group of young and old people alike explore the world of supers. Earning names, making enemies, breaking rules and making friends along the way.

What would you do if you were one of these heroes? If you were the boy that lives with his single dad that's completely worthless, would you run away or keep fighting? If you and your sibling were hero and villain, how would you treat eachother? Would you fight them, or try to fight that part of your lives? Well, while the group of heroes are going through that, they go have some fun. They soon forget their responsibility and leave their leader to do the hard work alone. When it ends with their leader getting fatally injured, they must protect him from his father while also doing all his tasks. On top of that, mobs of people are surrounding him, now that they know he's a hero. Between angry parents, crazy teachers, evil siblings, reporting mobs and endless school work, these heroes are at their breaking point. Will the leader have to take control again, or can the heroes handle the job? In a world of masks and capes, who can you trust? Who's really the hero? Maybe the villain isn't who they all thought at all. None of the art is mine, all credit goes to the artist.

Nothing Ever Lasts (Rewrite Demo) by Themythoperson

A new take on the first novel of the Anti-Hero story line, with updated and polished writing. Expanding and rewriting the story along with adding never before scenes and characterizations with most of the original story beats along the way. This is not the official canon novel, however I'd like to think of it as an alternative universe. You might recognize some things, and see new ones as well.
