A couple months after the android revolution, things are just beginning to cool down. You're finally back at the DPD, picking up slack for an officer on maternity leave and trying to relax.
That is, until cases start rolling in. Reports of androids disappearing mysteriously into the night or self destructing for no apparent reason.
With Hank out of town for a month, you are assigned to work with Connor on android related cases.
You've never had a partner before, much less a partner who helped lead an entire revolution. It's a little intimidating.
But as the cases keep coming and the plot unfurls, you begin to realize just how small the two of you are in the midst of a movement that might be too big to put a stop to.

I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? Story length: 10,003 Words - This is based after the ending where everyone lives and they essentially get equal rights for androids - This is not Hank x Connor, it's more of a father/son relationship - Trigger Warnings: Cussing, drinking, bodies and typical crimescene environments, drugs, etc. - This is kinda a lazy fanfic- AKA I really love these characters and had a scene in my head, then formed a plot around it and did my best to make it interesting lol. - I made the cover in Desygner - Characters belong to the game Detroit: Become Human and the company that made it, Quantic Dream.
