This is a story about Prim, a 15 year old girl who is spending the entire summer with her insane Aunt Kate. Kate, works as a librarian in Point Pleasant West Virginia. This town is famous for it’s many sightings of the infamous Mothman ( Duh Duh Dun )
Prim has a past with this town, in fact. Her Mother was born here. She also, mysteriously disappeared there when Prim was only 5. Prim is forced to join the book club her Aunt Kate runs every afternoon for kids 12-17.
The club is filled with a group of characters as different as the books they read. She soon befriends ⅘ of the kids (just not Amy, nobody likes her.) Eugene, The factual freak who has no idea how to talk about anything unintelligent, Mari the funny kid who spends the days combing the forest and the forums for some kind of spooky story to tell around the fire (which by the way, she constantly lighting), Roby the weird dude who for some reason joined the book club even though he does not seem like the type (don’t let that fool you, he’s very smart.), and finally, Dylan, the softball queen who is unable to function when it comes to gay magicians, or as everyone else knows them as, the Gulliver Pocus book series. Seriously, she’s like 50% meats and cheeses and 50% gay fanfiction.
Prim’s enjoying her peaceful summer, between the camping in the woods, and the scream fights with Dylan over who would play a better Gulliver, everything was swell. Well, until she starts finding out more about her mother’s strange disappearance. While she tries to solve the mystery, she also finds herself tangled in questions about Mothman. Soon, she can’t but spend every waking moment wanting to figure out the secrets that are behind the surface of Point Unpleasant West Virginia. (So, Pretty much just read it… also sense this is kind of my first solo fic, it’s going to be bad.)

*****
