Tomorrow will be the first day in school. I'm so excited, being Grade 6. I do hope to find out who are my new classmates. After a few normal weeks, weird things start happening. One of my classmates disappearing, noises in the Principal's Office, and lots more scary things. Will I find out how to stop and end this unbearable curse, or be one of the students who won't live to tell the tale?All Rights Reserved

It's all chill with thrills until the scary stories are based on true incidents! At least all the stories me and my classmates have been sharing do have relevance to reality. But that wouldn't mean my school is haunted! I mean, I did see someone walk pass by me but I couldn't find them when I turned back; and there was definitely no one walking behind me; neither was the door locked in the empty building nor were the students' headcount dropping in thin air. I'm sure there's logical explanation to all of it, right? Our school is obviously not haunted.... Right?

A large group of friends split into smaller group to find things they need for their survival. Dramatic events occur, but they still stick together. My Summer of Writing and Stuff by SomewhatSmartGirl

The summer of my 5th grade year, my mum made me and my sisters type a page of something everyday. She didn't care what we typed, as long as we were writing and creating something. At first, I saw it as torture, so I tried so leave as many spaces as possible in my writing to fill up the pages faster. Eventually, I started to enjoy writing the stories, and now that I look back at them (as much as I hate to admit it) it actually wasn't that bad. This book contains everything I wrote during that time, and I didn't change a single word as I transferred the stories from my computer. There aren't as many stories as you would think, because I didn't write for the entire summer, but there's quite a few. Some are short stories while others are longer, but I hope you enjoy all of them. It's quite a mess, really. And I'm not joking when I say that. (I used the Canva app to create the cover. All photos, except from my drawing in the first part, are from Pixabay.)
