After escaping the Edison Group, Chloe and the gang are on the run from the Cardan. With the downloaded information they took from the lab, and the help of Aunt Lauren and Kit Bae they begin to travel the states and free other projects. It's proving to be trialing, both mentally and physically, causing a dent in Chloe and Derek's freshly started relationship. With the threat of the organization finding them, and Derek's new found kin, Chloe is beginning to worry if they're relationship will really last. Was it really meant to be, or was it because there was a limited options?
(AN: If you have not read the series before hand, please go and read it before continuing to read my little headcannon of what I think happens. I will be tying in another series from the same universe. I will not be adding OCs to the works, it's going to strictly be based off the books and nothing more.
