Sarah is a sophomore in high school who has some serious mental problems. So the busier she can be, and the more involved she can get, the better. Whether that be, taking part in the school play, playing a sport, or joining 10 different clubs. Any time spent at school is time away from her family's prying questions and her thoughts.

Lia is a junior in high school who loves to play sports and puts an effort into everything she does. Her main thing though is (being crazy) and basketball. She's the only Junior on the varsity basketball team and is EXTREMELY passionate about it. She's well-known around school, and fairly popular. Lia has a solid friend group and is rarely alone.

Both of them know of each other. Neither have spoken nor do they want to. They have no reason to reach outside of their current social circles to become friends with each other, maybe even something more. There's no reason especially when they're in different grades anyways, right?
