A CHRISTIAN SALVATION STORY 

She stiffened at the sight of the rope ,but she knew she had to do it , she climbed onto the little stool and wrapped the rope round her .

* * * * * * * * * *
"Tabitha come"she heard a voice appeal to her.
"No , no one's going to stop me".

"Tabitha come"
She looked up with her eyes blurred from tears, she could see a man standing a few distance away from her, his eyes were shining,  so was his face and white apparel. His sight brought her a strange calm.

He smiled. 
"Tabitha come"

She let out a silent cry, the demons clinging more to her now .
"You can't  save me" they pestered her to say.

"You are you Lord" she asked finally speaking up.

"I am , The Lion of the tribe of judah ".
"Tabitha come" He persisted.

The demons fled now deciding to wait for an opportune time.

She yanked herself  free and ran towards him falling at his feet.She needed no soothsayer to tell her this was the Christ ,the one Mrs Naomi had talked about. 

She let out another cry ;her desperate cry ...

The village loomed closer and closer, but instead of the usual deathly silence that hung thick in the air when Alexander and Rowan came through, the village was awash with jeering and shouting. Alexander halted and shifted uneasily in the saddle as thoughts of whether this was all meant for him or some other poor soul made his stomach churn painfully. "Mi'lord, none of this is meant for you." Rowan murmured from Alex's left hand side. "They are calling out 'Witch' Rowan, what if they mean to...." Alexander turned his head to Rowan and watched as his friends face paled. "They wouldn't..... Surely to God, they wouldn't....." Rowan asked as a shudder ripped through him and his hands clenched the reigns in a death grip. "I-" Alexander started to say but turned his head at the sound of a terrified female scream. Rowan watched as Alexander kicked his horse into motion, not missing the animalistic growl he let out as the horse raced towards the village. Rowan shot off after Alexander, all the while sending silent prayers to God asking that he protect that girl and forgive his friend. Rowan was no more than six yards behind, but it was too far - he needed to stay close to his friend, he did not know how he would react if they were burning her for her 'crimes'.
