When Lydia's life is threatened, she seeks guidance from those who saved her in a world she doesn't know. Not one to leave something solely to people she didn't fully trust, she took the initiative to find the information herself. It was harder than she thought when paper trails and computers didn't exist. The information seemed to be tight-lipped by the Nobles and never went further down the chain.
Running into more trouble than she realized, she opened more than her trust when she took a leap of faith and let someone else into her small world. There was more to him than he told her, but she dived head-first into trusting him.
