These were the words that echoed in Robyn Mizore's ears over 2,000 years ago when she became the goddess of Fate. To save her beloved sister from a terrible fate, she paid a high price and is now tasked with protecting people from other worlds from terrible fates. Betrayed by the person she trusted most, Robyn is weary of pain and having to inflict pain on others in order to reverse their injuries, and searches for other methods. Then she meets a fatally injured man named Axel, who has also lost someone he holds dear. Drawn towards each other's troubled pasts, Axel starts to question everything the Organization taught him about Nobodies. If he really doesn't have emotions, then why is he so drawn to Robyn? What other fate could a Nobody like him have, other than to disappear?
