Harper, a 17 year-old girl who thinks she'll never overcome the chains of her depression. Every day and night, she contemplates whether or not her life is worth living. She's tired of the burden of being alive. She never asked for this.
Waylen, a 17 year-old boy who's hiding behind a smile. Outgoing and loud in front of friends and family, but behind closed doors, he's a shell of a boy. Suffering from depression and anxiety, Waylen doesn't believe anyone truly cares for him, or will miss him when he's gone. When will his happiness be more than just a fake smile?
What happens when they meet under shaky circumstances? Will they cower away from happiness, or embrace it? Is love enough to win the deadliest battle?

With no-one to turn to, Reegan deals with her pain by turning to self-harm. But her life is about to be turned upside down by the arrival of a cute new boy determined to save her from her bullies.
