+ Darcy's Redemption is an Amphibia AU! where Marceline and her mother never left California, and the three teenage girls, Marceline 'Marcy' Regina Wu, Anne Savisa Boonchuy, and Sasha Elizabeth Waybright, remained together in the state. It's been three years, and the girls still have no access to Amphibia, but that's not their only concern. Something mysterious has been happening recently with Marcy. She's been acting rather strange, and her friends have noticed. Marcy's often been whispering to herself; she's become more forceful, and she's been hiding more from her friends and her family. Sasha seems to be brushing it off, thinking it must have come from their time in Amphibia, since it was extremely eventful, but Anne thinks otherwise. She thinks it's a lot more serious. She can't help but feel that something big is coming, the feeling haunts her.
The Core is still a part of Marcy. It never left her completely; it remains in her brain. The Core has found a way to dig deeper roots into Marceline's body, and it's started to affect her physically, emotionally, and mentally. She tries to mask it as much as she can, worried about what The Core could make her do to her friends, and how her friends would react to the fact that The Core is still surging in her veins. Worry stabs Marceline like a needle constantly about the consequences of carrying The Core with her. +
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
