taking place in New London after the events of The Ballad Of Ricky, Kung Fo is a lost soul in the neon soaked city. he decides to try out ko Sang, a drug he's used to selling and through a high he makes an acquaintance of Xiang Bancroft, a kick ass chick in black PVC, she gives him a job to earn more Ko Sang and, through this job, Kung Fo meets Danny Von Croft, the son of the antagonist from the last book, this job is to obtain the last known genuine ruby ring in existence from a bank vault. through a series of misadventures, Kung Fo comes into possession of the ring and in doing so becomes the owner, president and ceo of the Von Croft drug company. he then falls in love with Helen, his AI secretary and they embark on a tumultuous love affair that brings New London to its knees.
