14 years ago Dr. Herald Iverson implanted four babies with the X-Gene, a mysterious virus which gave the carrier a super ability, these children were kept secret and under government supervision for a few months until the project lost it's funding and Dr. Iverson mysteriously vanished, the babies were separated for the sake of keeping the secrecy and grew up to lead very different lives, not knowing of their abilities or their real identities but now their powers are beginning to kick in and they have no q what's happening...
