You know the burning love you feel inside as you read your favourite fairytales, but then you are thrown into reality and all your dreams shatter. All you are left with is your imagination ? That is how I felt every time I woke up from my hopeless dreams and adventures. Until my fairytales came to life.

"For as long as she could remember, the girl had only known Ocean." Nameless, impervious to harm, and completely devoid of all feelings, the girl simply exists, living in the ocean in total solitude. She wants for nothing, and has nearly as little. But everything is about to change. When the girl discovers emotion.

Tragically hopeless. Incredibly hopeful.

Once upon a time, I never thought I'd say that phrase, as stories often end with a happily ever after. But this story didn't even have an ending, and I apologize in advance for whatever happens in it. So, grab a seat and let me share my side.

Once upon a time is now. A poetry collection celebrating and subverting fairytales.

You never know what you will come across in life, rather if it'll be your future husband or wife. I've developed an entire new view, if it wasn't for you. You'll travel my journey line by line. Come along for the ride. Live in someone else's shoes for once. Some is real; some is fake. But not everyone experiences the same things.
