Boogeyman

A misfit. That's what I am. Under kids beds, a shadow in the dark. They scream "Mommy! Mommy" or "Go away!" every time I try to talk to them. I was 7 when he finally got me. Alone in my room shadows clouded my vision. They made my once green eyes black holes, the skin that was once tanned from Florida sun was turned black, my unkempt, torn nails turned to claws, teeth sharpened to points, and I no longer was human. My reflection in any mirror only showed a monster.

After being alone for years, the famed Boogeyman takes a particular interest in a specific boy with brown hair and colorblind eyes, only to find that the two are not so different with sunken, broken eyes sharing the same story.
