Information you need to know for the story to make sense:

There are seven elemental powers that one can get: velocity, Geo, Hydro, Electricity, Cryo, and Pyro. The seventh element is a hidden element that only 1 person gets every 100 years, this element is the shadow element this is the most dangerous as it corrupts it's wielder, turning them into a monster. How this story will turn out is a question that is asked and will be discovered as you read along. But to use any of these abilities the wielder needs Mana, every element requires Mana, though there is something called mana backlash where when the wielder used up all their Mana and still forces an ability it will cause severe damage or even possibly kill them. Also, this is based after World War 3, the war between humans and humans with elemental powers.
