How the Night Hides Scars

Jade Savalani is 21 years old and still living with her foster family in a small home in the poor suburbs. One day her foster father comes home with the news that he bought a big new house in a rich neighborhood. Knowing that neither of her foster parents make enough money to afford a huge house Jade is confused about how this happened. Her foster father won't give a straight answer and seems to be hiding something. One night Jade hears Pastel talking to a man over the phone about money he hasn't payed back. She forgets until strangers show up to the new home and threaten Pastel. She makes the choice to sacrifice herself and meets a man from her past. Now she has to figure out how to adjust to her new life in the mafia.
