Khionia and Calefacious, twins abandoned on the outskirts of the elven city of Gale, have dark and forbidden magic running through their veins. A monster lurks beneath her skin, one made of ice and bloodlust, and if she does not meet its malicious demands for release, the repercussions would be catastrophic to those she holds dearest. Along with Calefacious, Khionia is forced to satiate the dark desires of the monster within by hunting her own kind, turning her forbidden magic upon them with brutal consequences. Only her brother's fire can thaw her ice and bring her back from the abyss. That is, until she meets the Prince of the Underlings.
