--I submitted this as a poem for my college writing journal. I hope that you all enjoy it! 

What is love? Is it opening the car door for me every time I want to get in? Or is it pulling my chair out for me when I come to sit? I used to think that these basic acts of kindness/decency were love. I used to think that there was no in-between for men until I met him.
