Atlas King was all for consistency. But although Atlas was all for consistency, consistency was not all for her. Maybe it was karma. You know... all the assassin business. That wasn't the point. The point was that out of everyone who hated her, Karma hated her the most. Waiting to pay for her sins was getting boring and Atlas didn't like to wait around. Luckily, she didn't have to wait very long before the world collapsed again - three times' the charm - and she was forced to fight a band of latex-clad hippos and a hum in her head that wouldn't go away. Atlas was beginning to recognise that perhaps the future might not be so predictable after all, and the lines between reality and fiction were looking a little blurry.
