In the year 900 AD, a strange object is discovered in the New World by Vikings. The object appeared to be a egg made of gold. The egg was larger than average eggs.

But when they make contact with it, it opens to reveal a sleeping child inside. A number of strange symbols surrounded and decorated the gold egg. 

They thought the child a gift from the gods. One of the men took in the child as he and his wife had just lost their daughter to the plague. 

They named him Aesir. Aesir became an older sibling to six other children. These were the Mikaelson Siblings. And they were a powerful family. 

Years passed and Aesir is a member of the Jomsvikings. He has spent months in battle with other clans and raiding their villages. But something went gone wrong. During an intense battle, Aesir was hit by his enemy's blade. 

Instead of suffering an injury, his skin broke the blade.

Overwhelmed by rage, Aesir lost focus and killed the man viscerally and violently. 

This was the beginning of the Legend of Aesir, the man with unbreakable skin. Descendant of Baldur. 

Centuries have passed and the legend still lives.
