"The world isn't just black and white" That's a nice statement, but since I got stucked here I think exactly that way: either you fight and survive, or you give up and die; there's no way to sugarcoat it. And I kept thinking that way....until I met him.


P.N. The setting and the mood of the fan fiction stay true to the tv series, I only changed a few details to give a sense to my story (like the order of the Games and the partecipants or the add of new Games), but all the events that happens in the series happens here as well (so, to be clear, don't hope to see someone come back from the dead, etc).
I originally wrote it in italian, that's why it's called English Version :)

I just watched him as he excitedly and passionately talked about his favourite things, and couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy. His whole being just caused me to lose myself in my love for him. It had taken me so long to ever feel this strongly about someone, but Red did it so effortlessly. It just made me so grateful to be sitting across the table with such an amazing person, who didn't even know how beautiful he looked.' So much stuff happens in the story but please give it a read, it's not just a typical cliche romance. Smut occasionally and I guess serious themes such as homophobia and bullying.
