A world full of demons and energy cultivation. Different clans. Rising war. Amidst it all, two girls with opposite personalities manage to meet and form an unusual bond.

This is a story is a sapphic romance/fantasy/slow burn between the two main characters, Lán Méngjīng and Fěi Cànxī. This book follows the same timeline as The Untamed, and is set in the same world and uses the same lore/fantasy. However, plot wise, Paradox differentiates a bit from the original book series. I've tried to keep everything as accurate as possible, but keep in mind that this is a work of fiction, and won't be 100% accurate to the original. You can read this as a stand-alone series, but I HIGHLY recommend watching The Untamed live action or reading the book series Mo Dao Zu Shi first. I provide context for those reading who have NOT seen Untamed or read the books, but I still highly encourage, as it helps things to make a lot more sense.
