Fated

I lit the match, my fingers dripping with blood.
I studied it for a while before throwing it on the fuel soaked floor.
It caught easily engulfing the house as well as the half dead person inside.
I didn't regret killing anyone because the pain they made me pass through was worse.
The fire danced hungrily.
Daniel walked up beside me.
"Do you feel better?"
He already knew the answer to that.
"Not one bit" I whispered
He held my hand not minding the blood and turned me to look him in his eyes
"It will be fine after the last" He smiled a little and pulled me into a hug
He was always by my side, consoling me always.
But each time I cursed myself for not loving him back....
