Amber, a 14 year old girl who just moved to China due to her father got a new job as a doctor in China. Both of her parents were  born in China, while Amber was born in Canada. Amber and Dre are very close friends. When she started school in China, she was enjoying and learning a lot at the same time. However, there was a Chinese guy name Cheng begin to picking on Amber and Dre during the day time, being the school's biggest bully. Amber hated it, and at night time, he's meeting up with Amber and being a angel. Their parents arranged that Amber and Cheng will get married at the age 20, whether they like it or not. Eventually, Cheng slowly start to have feelings for Amber. But Amber didn't like him at first. 

 However Cheng and Amber  later fell in love with each other. Later on, something happened to Dre that will affect Amber's life forever.
