Charlotte "Charlie" Barnes has lost everything, her brother, James, her love, Steve Rogers, and now any chance at a normal life. She is captured in HYDRA airspace in 1945, trying to investigate her brother's death, and is injected with an experimental form of the super soldier serum. She soon discovers that her brother is very much alive, but not at all the man she remembers. Charlotte is used as the second Winter Solider in the program, used to train all current and future soldiers.

After decades of their torture, Charlie finally escapes the Siberian compound. She is intercepted by S.H.I.E.L.D. and its Director Nicholas Fury. From that point on, she is confronted with relics from her past as she navigates her new place in the Avengers and the 21st Century, including reuniting with the Captain she thought was gone for good.

Book 1: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War

AN: I'm currently trying to update once a month as I'm trying to balance this story and grad school. Thanks so much for reading :).

Remember Me?

27 parts Complete

(Book one) When Anna Smith enrolled in the army, she was best friends with Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. She left them to follow a dream of becoming an agent. But when both died, she made the decision to become the next super soldier. Years pass as she established herself as the Director of SHIELD and remade the intelligence community in her image. Now that she finds out Steve is alive she wonders if he will remember her. Will they be the same, or will their friendship change? Not only has SHIELD slowly become something Anna doesn't recognize, she has to deal with the attack on New York too. I do not own any of the Marvel characters. I did go along with some of the movies. I do have my own characters in the story. 2nd Book- Don't Forget Me 3rd Book- Don't Lose Sight Of Me
