Another Chance

Mistakes beget mistakes and that was exactly what happened to Lily and by the time she had realised that it was already too late. Her oblivious self had not only cost her marriage
but her dignity as well and the only thing she could do at that time was to run, leaving everything behind to pick up the broken pieces of herself with a vow to never to love again.

Lily was a devoted housewife with no aspiration who oved too easily. Her love for her husband, Easton consumed her and just when she thought it was her happily ever after reality knocked hard on her door only for her to realise that it was not the end, certainly not a happy one as she realised that her husband had sent her to an unknown man to spend a night with as his part of a bargain to close a business deal.

Alastair was just looking out for Lily but his way of looking out was a little too twisted. He managed to show her the reality of her marriage but it never occurred to him that in the process of doing that he was scarring the very heart he desired for himself.

The first time Lily and Alastair met, he appeared to be a trouble to her and years later she found him standing in front of her as a man who had asked her husband to send her to him for a night. Hate was supposed to rise but Alastair was hell bent on winning her heart.

Will Alastair be able to win her heart especially when he was the very man who had perished her faith in love.
