Ever since the Variant Disease had been accidentally discovered there is no United States of America. Everyone had the disease in their genetic makeup at this point, some more than others. Athena lost almost everything to the fatal disease, her mother and her father, she has nothing except her little brother Zacharias. They are all alone in this horrible world, but they survive somewhat peacefully. Until Athena accidentally killed a man with unknown supernatural abilities, and she is not the only one.
