Alyssa Targaryen. The second-born daughter of King Viserys and Queen Aemma, the Realm's Hellion, the Princess of Passion and terror, the Heir to the Iron Throne, the Rogue Princess, and the pain in Otto Hightower's backside.
Just as Rhaenyra Targaryen took after her gentle and merciful father Viserys, Alyssa Targaryen was the female born version of her uncle, the Rogue Prince Daemon.
Daemon and Alyssa were matching souls of fire, set ablaze by both love and hate for one another. He wanted his older brothers acceptance and the Iron Throne, whereas she wanted her fathers love and her own freedom.
When a scandal emerges between uncle and niece, Viserys demands the two wed one another, an offer of which Daemon was eager to accept, as marrying the second born daughter of the King gets him one step closer to the throne. But when the day of the wedding came, the Rogue Prince, for some unknown reason, was nowhere to be seen, abandoning Alyssa in her long white dress, leaving her in a trail of ruin.
Ten years later, Alyssa, in the midst of scandal with a bastard child, re-emerges at Driftmark for the funeral of Daemon's wife, Laena, where the two matching flames reunite. But Alyssa would not let Daemon back in that easily, for she now knew the one and only thing her uncle desired more than her...

Precursory for new readers: this was written after season one of HOTD, I will not be changing anything when season 2 comes out. Daemon and Rhaenyra's night at the pleasure house had consequences. Viserys disinherits Rhaenyra when she refuses to marry Laenor and gives Daemon an ultimatum. Rhaenyra is heartbroken to discover her uncle chose his place in the line of succession over her and their daughter. She leaves for Essos and establishes an empire while raising her daughter. Visenya Targaryen grows up away from Westeros but is very aware of her heritage and who she is. When things go badly she and her mother return to Westeros where she meets her uncle Aemond. Like mother, like daughter, but unlike Rhaenyra Visenya has no intention of losing the man she loves or her inheritance. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. This is a love story where the dance of the dragons does not happen. In this story, Alicent married Viserys when Rhaenyra was 6 years old.
