this story,Clark Kent has become a broken man after his son Jon died in an unexpected attack by a villain. He has vowed to take revenge for the senseless death of Jon and has tapped into his inner strength going beyond his usual human limits. With his newfound power, he seeks out the villain and declares that he will not rest until justice is served. He has become a man consumed with vengeance, but the Justice League stands in his way trying to stop him from blindly taking action.
