Cleo is the frost queen, an odd ally for Oro, king of the Sunling lands. But perhaps their friendship makes a kind of sense.
    
    This scene takes place after Oro reveals Isla's secret and allies himself with Cleo. (VERY mild spoilers for the end of the book.) Oro just desperately needed some characterization and I wanted to build a bit on the thin scaffolding that Alex gave us. So I, as a character writer, took it on myself to write this little scene.All Rights Reserved
