War is brewing in the land after the unfortunate death of the Royal family. A sickness of both body and heart is taking its toll on the land and its people. The ancient blood is weak and far between. The ancient art of arcane science is long lost.  Few remember what is outside, past the treacherous seas and impassable mountains. Fewer even care. In the small town of Tower hill and the edge of the great forest in the shadow of the mountains, two siblings are struggling to survive. Ignorant of their heritage and danger edging toward them. Love and death are their only salvation.

This story is the first chapter of  my trilogy with the working title "The blood of the Aìnu." I look forward to hearing if what I have written is engaging to read and enjoyable. It is a story I have had in my mind for the last ten years and have been working on now and then. But I feel it is time to put it out there so I can learn from what I have done before and become a better writerAll Rights Reserved
