Davey didn't deserve to be here, in Jack's opinion. All he did was defend a friend-Jack would've done the same!-but he knows how heavy the school is on discipline and bullying, which is why it's ironic that Jason isn't with them.

"What are you looking at?" Jack blinked at the accusatory and annoyed look on Davey's face, shocked he'd gotten caught. "Is there something wrong?"

"No", Jack denied, licking his lips habitually. "Nothing."

Jack and Davey were two of the most well known kids at Hamilton High School, but on opposite sides of the popularity scale. Jack was always surrounded by people, and Davey preferred to avoid them when he could.

Davey was a cheerleader, and Jack was an artist.

But somehow, the logic of ending up in detention applies to everyone.

His Thing

26 parts Complete

The year is 1959, and Davey Jacobs has been swooned by none other than Jack Kelly. But it's not so easy. Trying to keep a secret and running away from bullies is harder than it was at his old school, and that's saying something. But maybe Jack can make it alright. Maybe he can make it worth it. Maybe he can be his thing. -------------------------- Racism, language, and bullying are serious themes in this story, as well as kidnapping. Please read at your own discretion.
