Oh, My Love

Copia had lived his entire life believing that love was a choice. Your decision. That's why most people took no interest in him. He'd given up on the idea of love, in fact he'd given up on the idea of trying to befriend any sibling within the clergy; it can only lead to pain and hardship and he had enough of that to last him two lifetimes. And more, proving that the clergy's idea of him was wrong meant concealing his vulnerable and introverted self with a mask of fake confidence, a disguise of a bewitching and intimidating demeanour that caused all to abide by his rules.

That way he would be accomplished in life. That way he'd be loved...just like his brothers were.
