On the new island of Berk, Hiccup and his tribe settle down in their new home. He defeats his worst enemy yet and let's his best friend, Toothless, go to live as the king of dragons. Letting him take all dragons to the hidden world. 

Hiccup married Astrid and the couple creates a family of two little ones, Zephyr and Nuffink. It's a happily ever after. 

But when Hiccup visits Toothless at the entrance of the hidden world with his children and wife, rather than being greeted happily by his old friend, Toothless drops something on his boat. 

A boy. A boy who's eyes seemed to glow golden like a dragons and hair as black as night. This boy tries to kill hiccup as soon as he meets him.  

Thus, the mysterious being who calls himself Sigrid that grew up in "The Hidden World" appears before the Chief of Berk and tries to live amongst humans.

The slits in his eyes relaxed into orbs, and he nudged her to get up with a purr in the back of his throat. He could smell her injuries and her fear, and he wanted her to get up and keep moving. Suffice it to say, Freydis and that black dragon became friends. He cared for her, and she had his back. That is, until they were shot out of the sky by a stupid Viking-want-to-be. Oh, and forgot to mention she has ice powers she can't control. Thank you, gods of Asgard.
