The tragic love story of Prince Aerys of House Targaryen and Lady Alicent of House Hightower was a well known tale told by mothers to their children and to their grandchildren for centuries to come.  The story had been heard from so many mouths that different variations began to spread.  In many Queen Alicent was an innocent girl pushed into a loveless marriage by her evil father and in others she was a conniving woman manipulating  two Targaryen men for her own gain. But there is one thing all versions had in common, and that is that the tale of Prince Aerys and Queen Alicent was full of regret and secrets; of love and heartbreak.

House Targaryen has always had its differences, the difference in opinions between Queen Alicent Hightower and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen is not unknown to the whole of Kingslanding and beyond that. Princess Rhaenryra was announced to be the next heir to the Iron throne yet those within House Hightower disagreed with the king's naming. Rhaenrya has one shot to align both houses and hopefully create solidarity and peace within the realm before her father, King Visarys dies, it could be the only way to ensure her claim to the throne and that it is her legacy that follows it. or where Rhaenrya's oldest daughter, Regan is forced to marry her uncle aemond to ensure her assent to the throne. I understand that the whole uncle thing is weird trust me I know, I would never condone it in real life, it just helps make more sense to the story and based on the show this would have been perfectly normal and in my opinion has made it a lot easier to write. this is based on a character a.i chat that I had with an aemond character.

Rhaegar is wild and mostly doesn't think about his actions. Therefore, many believe he will bring more harm to the realms than good. He's 16, and his father still hasn't named him Prince of Dragon Stone. Rhaegar has claimed one of the biggest dragons to live right now, son of Meraxes and Balerion, and almost 120 years old. Diaval was never claimed. Some tried, and they all died. All until a little 7 year old boy walked into his den and came out laughing, sitting on top of the large dragon.
