The world has ended and there's more people dead than alive, and somehow Andie has ended up completely and utterly alone. Nowhere is safe, but she can't keep running. And after captivity turns to friendship and love, the teenager must decide what direction her life should go from here. 

Option number one: Stay with the people who have become her friends and continue to help each other survive the living nightmare the world has become.

Option number two: Leave behind friendship, safety, and the man she some days quite literally can't live without...for a chance at finding her family, who may be dead already.

The internal conflict only gets muddied further when separation seems like certain death. Not to mention that the idea of leaving the man who saved her life and gave her purpose again tears her heart in two.
